“Carter High”
(Synopsis)

“Carter High” is based on a true story about an urban High School Football powerhouse in Texas. The blockbuster film,

“Friday Night Lights”,   highlights Carter High as Odessa Permian approaches the State Finals. “Friday Night Lights”, however,

fails to reveal the racism and controversy that the all black football team had to overcome to make it to the big dance.

After fighting through an emotionally roller coaster season that ends with a State Championship, untimely mistakes

take a few of the grid iron superstars from attending Division 1 colleges, to inmates in the Texas Criminal Justice System.
